The club is worth £0 or less.

To purchase it is likely £1 would be the sum , to show "consideration" in law.  The negotiation though would surround the "loans" made to the club by SSW (unfortunately, donations should never be paid back, so he'll always have to accept losing any).  It's unlikely 100% would be repayable, but in any event any repayment would be better than he is getting right now.

So you'd have to offer some sort of repayment structure of his loans and probably satisfy the league that the club could trade for 2 years or so and pay the CVA.

nah, I dont have the time or patience to be honest.  Id say if theres 100 supporters willing to put in 5k each it would be a start but depeneds on what the current board would want etc.

Swindon has many peopel that are doing well with a fair bit of cash floating about.  to get a hard core number pumping in money would be excellent.  Not sure even the trust could manage it though.

From reading their site, the Trust have a loan scheme wiht the Co-Op Bank.  you take out a loan with the Co-Op with the money going to buy shares in the club.  So if you have a spare bit of monthly income available you can invest this way.

On this subject, if 33% of the club is valued at £1m (Mr Powers investment), then the whole kaboodle could be argued to be worth £3m.  A little nugget i have heard is that Mr Power wanted the whole lot for this price, but Newbury wouldn't budge from a £10m estimation.

It's all well and good getting 100 fans to invest £5k each, but that still wouldn't even cover the clubs current deficit of £750,000 a year.

Bill Power did, and at a time when we were on a very low ebb. A non STFC supporter. Thats what gives me hope.

At the moment we are a bit high profile. Were getting coverage across the UK because of Wise, and were at or near the top of the league. Course give it 6 months of Dunwoody and that will seem like a decade ago. But right now, we dont look too bad.

I wouldn't invest as an investment, I'd just do it for the love of the club.

My aim in life is to have a sucessfull business and be able to buy a significant share of STFC. Probably won't happen, but it's something to work to in life.

Its all about money. Its all about cutting a deal. Nothing is black and white. But I dont there is no way on earth that a deal will get done with Diamades around. The bloke will just always push his luck too far. Pure greed. Course SSW thinks that Diamandes can get him a good deal out of STFC. But its never going to happen.

Id say if the current board would leave the club in debt of around £1 million to them, and £900,000 to the CVA then a deal can be done with someone. If they want 3,4,5,10 million paid back then we have had it.
