... by promising, and delivering changes. That takes nerve.

But the only unforced change- Duke/Nicco- he got completely wrong.

Are you talking about at half time or from the start?

I though duke should have started, played well when he came on.

He should have dropped Duke when he was rubbish every week... Not when he was regaining his confidence and starting to do the job!

My point is dropping Duke for Nicco was unenforced. The only unenforced change he made.

Duke has been our best player recently, the only one who wants to wear the shirt. Nicco simply doesn't have the pace Dukes got to play there.

King got it wrong.

Nicholas doesn't have the pace? Are you stupid?

Not quite sure why he took Nicholas off at half-time, he was doing alright, but Duke was great when he came on.

I've seen so many posts calling for that exact change to be made though even just in the last few days. You can't please everyone.

apart from roberts, nicco is the fastest player at the club

if our whole team had the same amount of committment and work rate as duke then we'd be doing a lot better than we are. one player in particular, brian howard, has been lacking these qualities for most of this season and today was an absolute disgrace. he doesn't deserve to start on wednesday.

King wanted to go 3 at the back, 4 across the middle and push Igoe on - thats why he made the change allegedly - bollocks is what I would say.

Did he tell the players that then because it looked like 3-5-2 to me!

I thought igoe looked almost like a 3rd striker for most of the second half.

On the radio interview I think King said that he decided to play a front three in the second half, of Roberts on the left, Igoe on right and Parkin in the middle.

It worked...we got a goal. 8)

i bet you nicho would come 2nd in a race across 20 yards with all players. with roberts winning. igoe isn't pacey and duke has never come across as the lightning sort. not like nicho is for example. he was faster over 10yrds than michael owen. ifil is fast, but nicho is faster.
