Title: Hello
Post by: Bob's Orange on Thursday, September 7, 2006, 12:48:13
Hi folks, not been on for a while so just thought I would pop on and see how everyone is. I am in Florida at the moment visiting my mum, stepdad, brother and sister. 90 degrees over here in Panama City!! Here for 2 weeks of sun and massive portions!!

Luxembourg is going really well, such a nice place, relaxed and laid back, a million miles away from back home. At the moment it is still feeling a bit like a holiday so I am going to enjoy it while it lasts. Moved into a minted apartment about a month ago. The lounge is massive and we are seriously considering getting an English Pool table as it would fit easily!!

There are loads of ex pats over here as well. Met a Peterborough fan who I drunkenly bet 10 Euro that we would beat them by more than 1 goal in a couple of weeks. Also met a town fan at a party last weekend. I was off of my tits, so can vaguely remember him but it was great to see another fan over there!!

So what is the gen with the season so far then? All good, can't complain about six out of six!! I am looking forward to coming home at Christmas, will go to Macc away and Wycombe at home (I think). Went to see Luxembourg play Turkey a few weeks back but it was pretty crap and Turkey were shite.

Yeah, its going well, the people are all so friendly, even the Germans! In my area there is loads of Irish, Scots and English and we get good banter.

The money is great as well! And some of the Women are smoking!!

If you are interested, you can send me your CV and I can forward it on to my manager if you are interested in working. Lombard is looking for new staff all the time so I am sure with you working for FP you may have an advantage.

US is easy as they all speak a form of Enlish, I have to keep reminding them that it is maths though and not math!!

In Lux it is not too bad, most people speak pigeon English and I am picking up French slowly. I want to enrol in French lessons soon though. At least in France they make an effort to speak English, when we went to Trier in Germany, they all turned their noses up when I asked if they 'Sprachen Sie English'. Ignorant plebs.
