Title: My football season... Post by: hansgruber on Sunday, September 3, 2006, 13:19:50 Started yesterday. and what a bloody awful start it was... it was all going well, we had all the ball, a couple of shots and a corner (where I nearly scored with a back post header!) then it all went to shit after 5 mins:
The guy I was playing centre back with tried to shepherd the ball back to our keeper. He, the keeper and their centre forward had an almighty collision and there was a sickening crack as his leg broke. I ran over to him and the bottom of his leg was all floppy. It was awful. To make matters worse the ambulance took about 20 minutes to get there. Game was called off because noone wanted to play after that. Get well soon fella. Title: My football season...
