Title: Poyet
Post by: robins88 on Saturday, September 2, 2006, 15:32:32
I think Poyet should get the assistant manager of the month for helping Dennis Wise. Also i think we need more chants for Poyet and Wise because they have really helped us to become a top team this season and long may it continue.

He was doing his pundit bit on the telly again today. Don't know anybody else that works for both Sky and the BBC?

Really his earning plenty on the side.

Who do you think would take over if Dennis ever left?

Gus
Ince
Williams
Tuttle
Brezovan

Assuming Wise doesn't take the team lock stock there's quite a few potential candidates there.

Agreed bring back Andy King, with Jimmy Quinn as his number 2, put Ruddock on a 10 year coaching contract and we'd be sorted.

I think Gus and Wise will be a managerial 'package' for a while yet so I couldn't see it being Gus.

I'd like to think Wise would like to see his job through and see us established in the Championship before he leaves.. however I'm a realist and I'm sure he would be on his way if we were to reach the upper echelons of league one.. In that case I'd like the board to take the view that an external 'big name' appointment has worked wonders with Wise and Poyet and search for a similar replacement.

However I'm confident that Ince, combining his natural leadership ability, work ethic and managerial learning under Wise et al would make a sensible appointment... providing he doesn't fuck off too..

Of course Brezovan would get my vote if managerial ability was proportionately linked to penalty-saving ability
