I think Gus and Wise will be a managerial 'package' for a while yet so I couldn't see it being Gus. I'd like to think Wise would like to see his job through and see us established in the Championship before he leaves.. however I'm a realist and I'm sure he would be on his way if we were to reach the upper echelons of league one.. In that case I'd like the board to take the view that an external 'big name' appointment has worked wonders with Wise and Poyet and search for a similar replacement. However I'm confident that Ince, combining his natural leadership ability, work ethic and managerial learning under Wise et al would make a sensible appointment... providing he doesn't fuck off too..
