Book tokens at Xmas and birthdays where always a decent enough way to avoid getting stuff from relatives which usually gets left unopened. Plus if they know it's educational they tend to up the anti a bit. We could use leftovers at our Uni on mags, papers and books worth reading so thre was never any waste. Did fail my second year though. Still, at least they knew the books inside out I suppose. |
