Title: How Long To Chester On A Friday Afternoon? Post by: The Grim Reaper on Monday, August 28, 2006, 07:56:38 Owing to work commitments I can't leave Honda until 1.30pm on Friday. The AA Routeplanner thingy reckons Chester is 155 miles from Swindon and about a 3 hour drive. On that basis it should be a piece of piss but I'm a bit worried about all the Friday traffic around M5/M6. Thoughts anyone?

Title: How Long To Chester On A Friday Afternoon? Post by: Northern Red on Monday, August 28, 2006, 13:01:27 Leave at 1:30pm and get straight on your way.
The key to this one folks is to get past the M5/M6 linkage before 4pm: - Before 4pm it'll take about 20 minutes at 10mph to get through. - Between 4pm and 6:30pm you're looking at an hour for to do about 2 miles. Just leave yourself enough time. Title: How Long To Chester On A Friday Afternoon? Post by: Sippo on Monday, August 28, 2006, 16:47:19 I reckon I could do it in 2 and a half hours 8) :D
