Title: Rickey Shakes Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, 08:43:52 that would be good. he needs to work on that aspect of his game thats for sure
Title: Rickey Shakes Post by: Ralphy on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, 08:58:52 He was pretty shit last night. Played better at right back than on the wing!

Title: Rickey Shakes Post by: fatbury on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, 09:01:05 Im thinking that maybe Weston or Brownlie might be better on right wing

He can't finish for fuck but full backs have no answer to his pace and size.
Title: Rickey Shakes Post by: Arriba on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, 09:10:50 a wide player must possess the ability to cross a football.shakes lacks this skill.weak link!
Title: Rickey Shakes Post by: Cookie on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, 09:25:07 Shakes for right back, he was immense.
Title: Rickey Shakes Post by: Luci on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, 09:30:25 Quote from: "Cookie" Shakes for right back, he was immense. Definitely agree with that. His distribution from that position was far better than his "crosses". He put some lovely balls forward and put in some good challenges too, he also didn't lose his man as easily as he has done ion several occasions this season. Title: Rickey Shakes Post by: Tails on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, 11:20:24 Shakes has always done well at right back whenever he's played there.
Title: Rickey Shakes Post by: Frigby Daser on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, 11:26:16 To be fair, he wasn't really tested at RB, but he did do a job there last night.
As Ashan's not going to get a game in MC if/when Ince arrives, I say give him a run out there. Has the attributes Title: Rickey Shakes Post by: PHIL!!!! on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, 13:26:43 If he could get his crossing sorted, he'd be an amazing player.
His first touch is sometimes a tad sloppy, but his ability to get past his man, track back to help defensivly and to get into good positions to either recieve a pass or to cross, is very good. Title: Rickey Shakes Post by: McLovin on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, 13:27:18 Defensively he is probably going to be a weak rightback. I also think some of his tasty balls forward were just a punt up field that went right. That's how i survived in Sunday league...
Title: Rickey Shakes Post by: adje on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, 14:47:12 Weston was bloody good on the right last night-set up Evo's goal and created several chances-play him there

Was that the mid-air back-heel combo between him and Fola? 8)Title: Rickey Shakes Post by: ron dodgers on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, 16:01:22 a classic showboat - he'd have got a hairdrying if he'd missed it though
Title: Rickey Shakes Post by: DiV on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, 16:30:14 Shakes defensive work, for a winger has generally been very spot on.
