Title: Ticket sales Post by: PHIL!!!! on Monday, August 21, 2006, 15:53:55 According to a mates mum who just rang up the ticket office, to book their tickets for tomorrows game, there are already 6,500 tickets sold!
Thats bloody good for a cup game! I can see it rising to over 7000, which would be pretty ace. Title: Ticket sales Post by: blinkpip on Monday, August 21, 2006, 15:54:49 That means 4000 sold then. they never tell the truth.
Title: Ticket sales Post by: sonic youth on Monday, August 21, 2006, 15:54:56 the ticket office also said we'd get 9,000 for rochdale.
Title: Ticket sales Post by: PHIL!!!! on Monday, August 21, 2006, 15:57:04 Haha! Excellent! Just noticed my heading name! :D

Wasn't that just someone off the 'Thisis' site talking shit? Title: Ticket sales Post by: Luci on Monday, August 21, 2006, 16:13:58 Anything less than 15,728 would be a disaster 8)
Title: Ticket sales Post by: Bushey Boy on Monday, August 21, 2006, 16:17:27 isnt our official capacity 14,000 and something?
Title: Ticket sales Post by: janaage on Monday, August 21, 2006, 16:23:15 Yeah 14,000 and 1,728.
Title: Ticket sales Post by: reeves4england on Monday, August 21, 2006, 17:05:49 Quote from: "janaage" Yeah 14,000 and 1,728. I think its 14,500ish now as they reduced it.I think the 9000 thing was just someone talking out of their arse. It doesn't surprise me there are lots going as we are on form and everybody wants to be there incase we beat a higher league team! Title: Ticket sales Post by: blinkpip on Monday, August 21, 2006, 17:10:59 Brentford may bring down quite a few to be fair. They did last season, but they were doing well.

Tuesday night, Carling Cup, team from a lower league...wouldn't count on too many coming!500 tops I would reckon Title: Ticket sales Post by: ibelieveinmrreeves on Monday, August 21, 2006, 17:46:43 They wouldn't tell me how many tickets we'd sold when I phoned up and asked :( .
Title: Ticket sales Post by: sonic youth on Monday, August 21, 2006, 18:51:18 the official capacity is 15,728 although since they've cordoned off sections of the nationwide, arkells and stratton bank it'll have been reduced a bit.
Title: Ticket sales Post by: RobertT on Monday, August 21, 2006, 19:24:15 The capacity is reduced following the removal of seats in the Arkells and the Safety Advisory Group knocked off some for the standing in the TE I think. Around 14500 is the current allowed capacity.
Title: Ticket sales Post by: fatbury on Monday, August 21, 2006, 19:28:49 sell out then!
Title: Ticket sales Post by: reeves4england on Monday, August 21, 2006, 22:02:53 Quote from: "fatbury" sell out then! :Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick: Good one! The TE might be sold out I will give you thatTitle: Ticket sales Post by: Plumstead Red on Tuesday, September 12, 2006, 11:27:47 The ticket office are so rubbish though!
Yesterday lunchtime I was in the queue for 50 minutes - it's a good job work are so understanding. There was only the Scottish chap and the other chap there - the other chap was doing phone bookings. Why can't they draft extra staff in just for the lunch hours? And why do they have to close at 5pm - surely it won't bankrupt us to stay open until 6pm? Then the queues at lunchtime would be less. Title: Ticket sales Post by: Cookie on Tuesday, September 12, 2006, 11:34:30 I went at 5ish yesterday and queued for 30 mins. Apparently it was busy all day.
Title: Ticket sales Post by: SwindonTartanArmy on Tuesday, September 12, 2006, 13:00:46 queued for about an hour yesterday lunchtime. Agree its an absolute joke that there is only one guy serving people, surely they could have got someone from the clubshop or somewhere else to help out.
Title: Ticket sales Post by: reeves4england on Tuesday, September 12, 2006, 15:07:56 The good news is that heis means there is demand for tickets.
Obviously it is a pain in the arse though and the problem does need to be resolved. I find it much easier to try and phone at a quieter time, or if I'm booking for a big group then its easiest to book online and split the slight extra cost Title: Ticket sales Post by: Panda Paws on Tuesday, September 12, 2006, 16:17:52 Quote from: "reeves4england" The good news is that heis means there is demand for tickets. Title: Ticket sales Post by: Batch on Thursday, September 14, 2006, 10:12:11 Not that the ticket office is open until 7pm this Friday. Might help reduce "congestion", though I suspect the crowd will be down this weekend with 2 games in a week and no ex-players of note to bait in the opposition line up (only Benji and the phantom).
Where's ya big ron gone.. Title: Ticket sales Post by: Piemonte on Thursday, September 14, 2006, 10:20:50 Quote from: "Batch" Not that the ticket office is open until 7pm this Friday.
