Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: janaage on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, 14:20:46 Fair play to the young lady, 70 days at sea, with not so much as a rampant rabbit for company, she must be one, stinking, frustrated, tired woman right now. I would hate to be her fella cos she's a minger but well done anyway.
Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: Piemonte on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, 14:27:20 Yes, congrats to her for doing something totally pointless!
Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: janaage on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, 14:29:37 I was kinda thinking the same. Why not just catch a plane around the world and do it in about 30 hours. She wouldn't have missed Christmas then. She'd still be a minger though.
Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: sonicyouth on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, 14:32:18 I couldn't care less...and I feel quite guilty about it.
Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: Simon Pieman on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, 14:34:27 i didn't know who the bloody hell you were talking about at first. i bet she still flicks the bean though
Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: janaage on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, 14:37:36 You reckon? I don't think she would have. The french bloke who did it last year probably did, most days, but I'm not so sure about her. She was probably"too tired" or had a headache, even to do it herself!

I wouldn't say the things that Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela did were pointless. Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: janaage on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, 16:32:10 Mandela's pretty pointless to be honest. Never rated the bloke.
Luther King was ok, but doesn't deserve a day named after him. Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: Boeta on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, 16:46:59 Quote from: "janaage77" Mandela's pretty pointless to be honest. Never rated the bloke. I suppose being the leading figure in getting rid of apartheid is pretty pointless. Wanker. Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: janaage on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, 16:50:01 I never called him a wanker Boeta, that's a bit harsh.

Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: Boeta on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, 17:01:13 He could have sanctioned the killings of as many racists as he wanted to
Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: sonicyouth on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, 17:06:05 Perhaps you should move to South Africa seeing as you so desperately cling to every last shred of your 'heritage'.
Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: Boeta on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, 17:09:46 Pardon?
Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: Boeta on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, 19:26:47 Anyway, Sonic what the fuck are you talking about me old mucker?
Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: sonicyouth on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, 19:29:32 You defend anything vaguely South Africa related to the death and it's quite boring.
Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: Boeta on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, 19:49:56 Can you show me some examples because I can't remember this occuring.
I don't think it is possible to defend South Africa's record on human rights and I can't believe I've tried to do so. What I do believe though is that you cannot put into words how bad things such as apartheid is and Mandela played a vital part in bringing about its downfall within South Africa. Of course, as always, the only place change can come from is from within (ie. the South African people) but Mandela was an important figurehead of that. Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: McLovin on Wednesday, February 9, 2005, 09:02:56 Was he not a terrorist to begin with?
Not trying to stir things up, just sure i read it somewhere. Is this true? Title: Helen MuckArffer Post by: janaage on Wednesday, February 9, 2005, 09:19:49 Yeah he was a terrorist alright. Boeta's a cricketing terrorist lover!!!!
