Title: Personalised Seats Post by: RobertT on Wednesday, July 26, 2006, 17:26:03 It's been done before, at this very club, back in 1994 by Rikki Hunt.
3 year season tickets were sold and you became a member of a "platinum club". One of the benefits was you got your name on the seat for 3 years to show you had chipped in. Some of the names can still be seen on seats to this day. Title: Personalised Seats Post by: Mark D on Thursday, July 27, 2006, 00:04:22 This is a bit different from the naming of seats as done previously at the club. The idea, or should I say the design, is the idea of a Scottish firm, who first contacted the club in May. They tell us that they are introducing the scheme at several clubs in England and Scotland. To give fans more of an idea of the style of the personalisation, the website will be updated to show a visual sometime tomorrow. I guess it will not be everyone's cup of tea, but for those who do decide to take it up, it should look good, and generate some additional revenue for the club.
Title: Personalised Seats Post by: yeo on Thursday, July 27, 2006, 00:05:17 What Scotish firm was it?
I bet it was the Aberdeen Casuals :D Title: Personalised Seats Post by: Luci on Thursday, July 27, 2006, 07:33:56 If it generates extra revenue then fair play! Nice to see new ideas.
Title: Personalised Seats Post by: RobertT on Thursday, July 27, 2006, 08:39:12 Quote from: "Yeovil Red" What Scotish firm was it? I bet it was the Aberdeen Casuals :D Unlikely, unless it involves ripping up the back of the seat and lodging it in the head of another season ticker holder of your choice. Title: Personalised Seats Post by: Piemonte on Thursday, July 27, 2006, 08:43:00 And you see Aberdeen as role models for L & P RobertT ?
You're a disgrace  Title: Personalised Seats Post by: RobertT on Thursday, July 27, 2006, 08:44:38 Quote from: "Piemonte" And you see Aberdeen as role models for L & P RobertT ? You're a disgrace  Trying to wind me-up!!!! Clearly the two groups are not one and the same, although I think the Casuals have given the Red Ultras their thumbs up on the tifosi website. Title: Personalised Seats Post by: STFCBird on Thursday, July 27, 2006, 09:06:59 This is the sort of thing my mate Paul would do, for no particular reason, just because.
