The knock on of which was that by 3pm when Swindon played QPR the atmosphere was absolutely top notch. I doubt you could have found a sobre adult in the entire Town End and even the South was very lively. That was the best Swindon crowd last season for my money, and one of the best celebrations - when Parkin put us one up.
Even a staunch anti rugby man like myself dipped the cap that day (if just for a day). If you dont like rugby then hearing Tim fucking Russon talk about the 'cherry whites' (sickly sweet nickname) every monday before the football is usually enough to send you over the edge. Fair enough if you don't like it, don't watch it. I love most sports I could happily sit and watch any sport. Personally I think the average rugby match is more exciting than a the average football game, but that's just my opinion. I think rugby's played in a better spirit too, but I do love my football.
