Title: greek islands Post by: juddie on Tuesday, July 4, 2006, 13:26:09 so I fly out to athens a week sunday and then aim to go island hopping. Got nowhere booked, just gonn a play it be ear and see what happens. Anyone got any suggestions for islands to visit/places to see/golf courses to play? I was thinking of starting at santorini...

I suppose some places to go and see for the trouble and strife, too.

Birdy is right, Rhodes is good but very hot. I went to Faliraki 2 years ago and it was awesome (away from the clubbing, vomit-stained youth of GB) and we had a really relaxing holiday. Especially the old town part, the old ruined buildings are nice if your looking for a bit of history etc and thats where all the market stools are. Sell lovely jewlery and handbags and stuff :D
