Crystal Palace have added another friendly fixture to their pre-season calendar, with a game against Swindon Town at the County Ground now arranged.
The Eagles will face Dennis Wise's men on Sunday July 23, with a kick-off at 3.00pm.
Tickets will be on sale for this game shortly, priced at £10 for adults and and £5 for concessions or supporters can pay on the day for £15.

just saw this on another site nothing official yet though as far as i can see

Still no premiership team though

Still much more of a positive start in comparison to last season.
Players back early for fitness
More friendlies organised

Least things are slowly moving in the right direction...

Id rather play a strong championship than a second string/youth premiership team.

But as Lady said. Its such an advance on last season!

good friendly, dodgy ticket prices.

can't see people paying £15 on the door, £10 in advance isn't terrible though.

Arriba, money from these games is split 50/50 between the teams. For what it's worth we wanted £10/£5, Palace wanted £15/£5. So the final pricing is a compromise between the clubs.

Well If both clubs wanted £5 in advance why not go with that? Where'd the £10 come from?

£10 is pretty reasonable. Its a good fixture for us and I for one will certainly be going.

thanks for your reply mark.i will purchase mine in advance and £10 is fair in my opinion.i dont like the extra, pay on the day fans have cough up.it puts people off

Why not phone the club? I'm sure they'd be happy to sort something out for you.

A tenner's fair enough, and well done to STFC for holding out for that.15 quid is a bit steep for Palace tho - do Palace have delusions as to their grandeur? I suppose you can answer that, by asking is Simon Jordan their chairman?

What about the bear? Is he included in the price or are you leaving him at home with a bear-by sitter?

Thats why they have on the day prices. £15 only a fiver more and probably the best opposition we'll be seeing for a long time yet.

Yeah just seems unfair to punish those who have gone all the way to Ibiza to see the team ?

Id hardly call it punishing!  Buying it on the day is just bad organisation if you have had the opportunity to buy it before hand.
