rock music is utter wank at the moment, and it pisses me off how people talk about some kind of revival just because its become the new pop. kaiser chiefs, coldplay, embrace, the *insert name apart from the strokes/kooks/arctics* are all utter wank. same old cords, same predictable songs which all sound more or less the same. even the arctics sounded just like the libertines on one song i heard. the killers are particularly bad, if you've ever heard that brendon cunt sing live then you'll know exactly what i mean; he's fucking awful. not that you have to have a decent voice (dylan), but at least don't get someone to do a cher-style computer synth job on it and pretend you can.
