I am also young, versatile and athletic. On top of that I'm not a tosser.... No difference, Collins was a waste of space, as were the large majority of our loan signins....hope he ends up at a shit conference club like Oxford... Title: Patrick Collins Post by: RobertT on Thursday, May 4, 2006, 16:35:54 It would suprise me if he finds a League Club. He looked really quite bad when I saw him.
Title: Patrick Collins Post by: DMR on Thursday, May 4, 2006, 16:37:59 You're not good enough to play proffessionally though VD... and you're certainly a tosser :D
Title: Patrick Collins Post by: Dazzza on Thursday, May 4, 2006, 16:45:32 See amongst that lot Rocastle and Diallo.
Both well worth a look at for next season. Talking of players it's about time we saw some triallists. Most clubs are already filtering through the early tit-bits. Title: Patrick Collins Post by: Sade on Friday, May 5, 2006, 08:30:40 In the style of fatbury, he's better than sam parkin 8)
Title: Patrick Collins Post by: McLovin on Friday, May 5, 2006, 09:00:39 I don't get you, Sade...
I think Collins is better than Ifil, potentially. Oh yes. Title: Patrick Collins Post by: Tails on Friday, May 5, 2006, 09:12:09 Has anyone seen the town fan that has Collins on the back of his home shirt?
Wednesday have released a few handy players tbh. Title: Patrick Collins Post by: normy on Friday, May 5, 2006, 10:19:56 What was so bad about him? In a poorly prepared team, he tackled and headed quite well, was not involved in heavy defeats , and I can't remember him gifting any goals. His passing was mainly hoof, buts that's standard here except for sometimes Gurney, and Viveash previously.

He may have been able to tackle a bit and head a bit, but I just found him too often looking like Bambi. If he doesn't give an air of authority then he'll make others less confident and it causes defences to panic a bit. Can't quite put my finger on it, but he just reminded me of a Carlton Palmer type of player. Title: Patrick Collins Post by: normy on Friday, May 5, 2006, 12:14:31 So they had an air of authority in central defence, did not panic, and made no silly mistakes leading to goals, after he left? ( Rhetorical question).
As for caliing him Bambi, deer deer! See your point though, but he was too young and inexperienced to expect miracles from, in the shambles when we started the season IMO. Title: Patrick Collins Post by: RobertT on Friday, May 5, 2006, 12:16:14 Oh, I think we could include the others as well.

Title: Patrick Collins Post by: normy on Friday, May 5, 2006, 15:00:43 Sorry, I only watch home games, but going on the match report the back four were all awarded 5, satisfactory, but others upfield except Fallon only 4. "Collins made several timely interceptions". You have to be there to know, can't trust the Adver. :?

Don't worry love I think I'm the only one that gets me :D (I was sarcastically refering back to the time when fallon left, and in that huge thread fatbury said that fallon was better than parkin and sonic then banned him. Classic TEF moment) |
