Looking for somewhere in the vicinity of red light district/Dam Square, ideally apartments and don't want anything on a premium. Few irons in the fire but any suggestions? typical hostel rooms but a nice atmos and a lovely downstairs cotch where you can smoke http://www.flyingpig.nl/hostels/flyingpigdowntown.shtml we stayed there NYE and saw a bloke light the biggest joint ever, they were still toking 2 hours later! its just off that main road which leads down from the station. if you want a bit more upmarket try the greenhouse effect, its proper nice with themed rooms all done out pretty tidily, and also has a coffeeshop! http://www.greenhouse-effect.nl/hotel.html we stayed there the first time i went. watch out for the stairs. go for the greenhouse effect if you can afford it, its well nice Title: Amsterdam Accom Post by: Dazzza on Friday, April 28, 2006, 19:45:02 Cheers chaps I'll look those up.
