there is a possibility that the stewards wouldn't let him do his interview until we got kicked out, or we simply couldn't stay long enough. as for after the game, when he's done (hopefully) abusing the players, throwing teacups (plastic ones, we can't afford to break proper ones) and so on and so forth he might have gone round the executive areas. perhaps he didn't know that the people outside were waiting to talk to him specifically, there's usually people waiting for autographs etc anyway.
