Title: Line-up v MKD
Post by: DMR on Friday, April 14, 2006, 10:30:04
I don't really mind who it is because they're all cunts but if it's not 4-4-2 I shall go spare.

doesn't really matter now as we're all but officially relegated, but i suppose giving fringe players/kids a run out can wait until we're mathematically fucked.

Yeah I'd probably go for that too SY but bring Ifil in for CCP. I don't think CCP's fit by any stretch.

As we "can't defend" why on god green earth do you want 3 at the back?

Yep, all this shit about Paul Smith & CCP being the central two during our good spell, is a myth.....for most of the time it was Gurney and Migz.

Gurney to kick people and win the ball, Migz to take it forward and pull some strings. Those two have dipped in form, but have easily been the best midfield pairing we've had this season....

It would be quite interesting to see how many different central midfield permutations we've had this season...the most gamews they've played together and maybe results as a consequence....I can't be arsed though.

As you say Deev, they've dipped in form-thats why I go for Jenks in the"kick some people"role and Dodo as the "string puller"

Macleod can finish our season tomorrow no doubt....I'd go fro the JI man marking option, but thought JI looked distictly rusty last week, having not played for about a month.

Looked like he'd packed a few pounds on as well.   So think we're fucked.

I cant beleive the negativity....

Win tomorow and we will potentially only be in the drop zone by virtue of goal difference.

I can still see us doing it, its aint over til its over.

Lose tomorow and its over....

Jerel Ifil should never play again after last week's shocker.

Iffy liked a back three at Swansea and Gurney is available after his ban so expect him at CB with Sean RCB and Nicho LCB.

That frees Jack Smith to play RWB in a midfield five of Smith, Whalley, Doodoo?, Brown and 1 from Migz, CCP, Shakes. Has Charlie done enough to stay in?

Cureton and McPhee up front.

rich's lineup is incredibly attacking and weak in midfield but i like the look of it. maybe ive been using 433 too much on footy manager.

santini - i'd say that ccp has done enough on previous merit but he's been poor of late, perhaps lacking match fitness or can't handle the pressure. his best form came alongside smith, perhaps an old head gave him the guidance he needed.

I'd go 4-4-2 for this one.  Franchise apparently have a few key injuries in the form of Wade Small and Paul Mitchell so we've really got to go at them.

Evans

Smith
O'Hanlon
Ifil
Nicholas

Shakes
Whalley
Gurney
Brown

Cureton
Benjamin

Supposedly Benjamin is fit after a strained hamstring so no need for Lukas to start.  It's harsh dropping Diagougara (sp?) but for this one we need the steal of Gurney and the creativity of Whalley.  As I haven't seen Diagougara (sp?) play though I may be a little biased.  I can't wait for today, should be a good game.

diagorurururururuauuaagagagaga is the only player who should not be dropped.

Thought someone might say that - maybe replace Whalley with Diawog, I'll let you know at 4.45pm....  :D
