Title: Computer Geeks - Help Required Post by: pumbaa on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, 22:36:39 Not a serious problem, more of a minor irritant. My laptop has decided to automatically arrange my desktop icons in alphabetical order, rather than any user-defined structure. I've not deliberately changed anything, so I'm guessing some undected spyware has found its way onto my machine. I've done spyware scans and removed all the usual suspects, but the icons still arrange themselves alphabetically on startup. Any ideas as to what is causing this and how I can stop it. Ta.
(Hope this makes sense to somebody.... ) Title: Computer Geeks - Help Required Post by: flammableBen on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, 23:28:20 sounds likea bit of a random thing for syware to do. Sure you haven't accidenlty right clicked and pressed one of the things under the 'arange icons by' menu?
