our first friendly is on sat 15th april away at Swindon (behind the Arkells). first league game is on sat 30th home to painswick Title: cricket season Post by: Reg Smeeton on Wednesday, April 5, 2006, 11:07:06 Quote from: "Boeta" we started nets and fielding/fitness sessions a couple of weeks ago. ovee the winter we've 'signed' the cheltenham captain who used to play here who's had enough of the travelling and wants to come back now we're better structured both on and off the field. also got 2-3 other new quality players our first friendly is on sat 15th april away at Swindon (behind the Arkells). first league game is on sat 30th home to painswick Think there should be a TEF " build houses on the cricket ground" demonstration that day. we lost by 4 runs in a really good game, excellent practice - just what you need from a pre-season game. i scored 34 on a very slow deck, not a bad start |
