I was getting round Highworth 9-hole is 37-40 ish a few years ago, which is hardly brilliant but I was getting better

Havnt been arsed to play for a couple of years now though. I'll probably start again at some point and be utterly shit again :x

theres a nine-hole course in france i go to fairly regularly, par 37.  I have parred 6 of the holes, but never on the same day... usually get cocky and the blast the next tee shot into the nearest bush/pond/road/pigeon then sulk the rest of the way round and get something in the 50s.  I refuse to take lessons though, thats cheating.

I went to the driving range today thinking I could pick up where i left off 5 years ago, but I was gash.

I need some new clubs and lots of practice.

I like the automatic re-teeing device at broome though, lazy bastard.

Sade are you a little bit special? You do seem to have problems operating a bicycle and now a putter.

I'm crap, but enjoy playing. Plenty of opportunities here, at reasonable cost. There are two 18 hole courses within the boundary of my work site ($20 for 18 holes  8) ) and most public courses are about the same.

In fact, just off to a golf expo over lunch to try and pick up some cheap gear (up to 80% savings   ).

Whenever anybody says that golf is a good walk spoiled, tell 'em to get a cart!
