Title: The George Foreman Grill Post by: Dazzza on Thursday, March 16, 2006, 23:34:02 What a marvellous invention probably the best in the kitchen since those little plastic wallets you could stick a beef burger in and cook it in the toaster.
Saturday morning I'm going to by enough pig to normally give a grown man a heart attack but it'll be ok as it's healthy cooked in a George. Title: The George Foreman Grill Post by: DMR on Thursday, March 16, 2006, 23:35:07 I know of a bloke who put his penis in one out of curiousity. True story.

It's crap for Chicken because of that, and also for decent quality steaks... However, good for bacon etc. Title: The George Foreman Grill Post by: Asher on Friday, March 17, 2006, 11:38:25 Hate to admit it but agree with that, in teh old house use to use it loads but teh meat was always far to dry.
Moved house with new built in cooker and started cooking on the hot etc and grill and the meat is much better so havent used it in 2 momths. God we are gay Title: The George Foreman Grill Post by: Piemonte on Friday, March 17, 2006, 11:39:35 Quote from: "el duque" Quote from: "Foggy" I dont use mine anymore, I found that it dried the meat out to much or even burnt it ,anyone done vegetables on one ? oooh listen to us ,we will be swapping recipes next  Yes. I like my steaks medium rare and its ideal for that, only takes a couple of mins. Title: The George Foreman Grill Post by: Dazzza on Friday, March 17, 2006, 11:50:02 Same here on the steak front blast it up to full heat then whack it in just to seal the meat off.
Chicken needs marinading in a sauce first to help seal some of the juices and stop it drying out so much. Wouldn't ever do an expensive steak on it mind. Title: The George Foreman Grill Post by: Asher on Friday, March 17, 2006, 11:52:10 I even bought a griddle pan (square thing) for my steaks...mmmm steak
Title: The George Foreman Grill Post by: Simon Pieman on Friday, March 17, 2006, 12:30:19 There's nothing wrong with talking about cooking, as long as it's manly food like meat.
Title: The George Foreman Grill Post by: magicroundabout on Friday, March 17, 2006, 12:34:57 my GFG is the bollox.
my steaks in there are mint. i like them nice and burnt anyway so the GFG is ideal. As for bacon, i still think my fryer is best at the mo but i'm not doubting the cooking power of the GFG Title: The George Foreman Grill Post by: pauld on Friday, March 17, 2006, 12:38:11 Quote from: "simon pieman" There's nothing wrong with talking about cooking, as long as it's manly food like meat.
