Talbot should have been sacked ages ago. I'm worried they might go on a bit of a run now, with a new/caretaker manager at the helm

doubtful, and i wonder what gave you the idea that talbot was any good?

patto could do a much better job, he's got WAFFA A-licenses and all sorts.

supporters are still intent on letting FK know their feelings, despite this attempted appeasment. he's trying to distract the attention from himself, but the fans' frustration is too great this time.

Patto Banton? :soapy tit wank:

He'll be hiring Shakka Demus & Pliers as his assistants next

i didn't say talbot was any good, in fact he's rubbish. it's just never a good idea to sack a manager with 10 games left in my opinion. replacing him with an inexperienced manager - coaching badges or not - could be risky, sometimes new gaffers dont have an instant impact.

that said, he could easily take you on an unbeaten run 'til the end of the season or something.

I don't really want them to go down. Would make us getting relegated even worse without the prospect of a derby.

If we stay up they can do what they like

job adverts going to have to be good - i can't see "wanted, manager for football club two points of relegation with a handful of games left.  position vacant due to sudden sacking of previous coach.  bring own boots" working too well

It'd be funny as fuck if those wankers get relegated,

"Southport, York City, and Forest Green too, say hello to those wankers in yellow and blue...."

I think the sacking of Talbot will keep Oxford up.

They were only going one way under him, and that was out of the League.

A new manager, or even caretaker will probably result in an upturn in their fortunes. The fans must be panicking though, didn't realise till I saw the table how close they are to the bottom now  :D

What's the score on this oxfan? can't be arsed to look through your links. My blind guess is that you are hoping for the classic honeymoon revival. Still hope you go down as rivals but I find your situation quite interesting. Seems kassam is a good bussiness man but rubbish when it comes to football; think that sums it up?
