Post by: Asher on Tuesday, March 7, 2006, 09:32:21 Just occured to me, why oh why are we held responsible for the maintanance of the county ground? We pay a large amount of rent to swindon borough council to use the stadium yet we have to pay for teh repairs? Shouldnt this be down to teh council?

It's probably a case of they let us do what we want with the internal fittings provided we then repair them ourselves. I suppose the alternative would be to let the Council fit it out how they want.

I thought I read a quote possibly from MD that we are now clear on rent owed to the council. This was around the time of Shaw so there has been every opportunity to get back into debt. That said like you say it's more than likely a previous incarnation :D |
