His wife passed away yesterday, after a struggle with cancer, don't usually get involved with these kinds of threads but I for one liked Gorman, thought he was a decent man and don't wish this kind of news on anyone!!

I dont usually get involved with this type of stuff either, but despite being far from the best manager STFC has ever seen I've always had a respect for Gorman.

He seemed like a genuinley good bloke who cared a lot for STFC.

all the best John.

I'd forgotten about that as McAllister had quit Coventry ages ago, I had presumed she was ok now.

Cancer is a horrible horrible thing and it affects most people at some time in their life.

Commiserations to Gary and his family.

There is a game today at Tynecastle in Edinburgh between contributors of the two rival website forums, Heartskickback and Hibs.net, they are expected to attract a big crowd and make lots of money for charity.

Perhaps we could do something similar with Wycombe Wanderers to raise money and awareness for a Cancer Charity? Obviously it would take a lot or organisation but I am sure there would be plenty of willing contributors?

That's a good idea Edinburgh, as you say needs people to organize it though.
