I did though get a small chase round the back of the memorial ground at about 3 in the morning a few weeks ago by shouting "swindon till i die" though i think this was by someone trying to sleep. I wear my swindon shirt, the locals love it :wink: Usually my younger cousin comes with me to the cinema though, he's about 5 and wears his city shirt so I guess he kind of acts as a guard. Get some funny looks though. Although if I go to longwell green cinema, thats rovers part of the city and they don't mind.

Your best bet is Bristol, especially for the late night drinking and hotel bits of your requirements. Haven't been out in Bristol for a while but loads more clubs than Bath and the ones in bath are proper bo, and not the good type of bo! Whiteladies road is quite good, nice bars but full of students. The waterfront is too packed and the bouncers are wankers.
Corn Street is just shite. I'd go to Bath personally. Moles (I think) used to be quite good. Do the pubs still shut at 11 though- not sure. |
