Just had to check to believe that, obviously not happy there.

Wonder if he will go to Celtic?

Well if we get him in, maybe we could go for Ballack as well, as he seems to be a little unsettled at Bayern at the moment.   :wall:

Yeah i read about that earlier and i was totally shocked. How could he just walk out like that? I thought he would have shown more loyalty towards the club and the fans. What a prick.

 Yes because he's only been there for twelve years :-))( There really is no loyalty in football anymore. Wink
Personally i think he was a great player but a dirty bastard, certainly the kind of player fans love to have in their side.
It seems to be coming to the end for Manure Beers [i hope so anyway]Fergie has always stood by Keane, but i think slagging off your own team mates,as justifiable as it was,is always a bad idea,so he had to go.

By sayin that (the bit in bold), i meant he should have at least stayed on untill the end of the season instead of just leavin, just like that. And for a player of his popularity, i thought he would have been professional enough to hold out until the end of the season or untill the january transfer window opens at least.

Keane has always been very much his own man though,i think he must have realised that the end of the road is nigh for fergie, and as i've said when you slag off your team mates it really doesn't help  team spirit.Plus he's made shedloads of money and run his heart out for manure so i'm guessing he belives he can leave when he wants too.
I agree with you though he is a prick Smiley

Phil it's mutual i.e.: he's been kicked out.  A player can't just walk out....

I was pretty shocked to read that, but I can't see many clubs wanting him to be honest as he's a miserable cunt who's far too outspoken for his own good.  I'd be surprised if he found another club in the Premiership, especially in the top half...

Mutual consent means that both parties (Keane and United) agree to end his contract. So he hasnt been 'kicked out' as such  Wink
