Back on topic; I think a whole host phoney awards would make us look a bit mickey.
My suggestion would be to do a "thetownend.com moment of the season". And no, I don't mean Fred Elliott falling over into a puddle of his own piss, I mean a great goal, a well crafted move or a superb tackle etc.

I must admit, I did like the idea of best loan signing.
Its a proper decent award, plenty of competition for it - no obvious winner and one that as far as I know isnt already done.

i agree.hence why i said what i did earlier. your idea is a good un,and i'd like us to do the bog standard 'tef player of the year'(and i dont mean jayo shaggin old grannies either) 'goal of the season' etc,etc.boring?maybe, but it would still be an award for players and staff,and would put the forum out there to the massses.you never know, we could gain some more decent posters to add to those that have recently joined. people on here slate other forums for being shit(rightly so) but having awards about cheese etc will make this forum look stupid to those who dont post,or know anything about it. |

Do you not find that a cringeworthy? There's already awards voted for by fans. What makes us so special? This next award was voted for by a bunch of tosspots on a sweary forum.... If you want to be noticed then try jumping 10 double decker buses on a milk float or something. |
