How did he manage to go from 13th October 2018 to the first game of this season without a goal!

Two of this seasons haul are penalties - on the one hand that bolsters his return a little, on the other you have to put them away and last night I watched someone miss two penalties within a minute (missed a retake).  I think his general lack of skill and penchant for just wellying shots without any precision probably makes him a very good penalty taker.  He's uncomplicated.
It's as if it is the fishing season and he fucks off night fishing instead of bothering to train

He said he packed up and went to work. Plus it's fishing season now, so how's he scoring? A rumour, yes. A transfer rumour, no.

I’m not sure staying up all night carp fishing before going to work would be well received in many professions, let alone football

I'm inclined to agree, although I'd be surprised if he didn't set a bite alarm and get some sleep. Either way, he didn't do it instead of training as suggested, and his lack of goals is more likely because he's a bit shit.

Looks like a keeper (loan) and Anthony Grant from Shrewsbury are a couple of incomings today.

Who might Gordon be? Have we been linked with someone of that name? From an STFC-Boo tweet.

Had to look up AG but he seems to have a pretty solid CV - 500+ appearances in all competitions and still only 32...forced to train with the youth team for 'in house' reasons apparently...

Grant is interesting. A superb player if in the right mindset but you do we drop in midfield for him? A centre half over Baudrey really needs to be a priority as he's just not going to be reliable enough in my opinion.

Lots of rumours on the shrew's forum that grant had done something quite naughty, but none say what the rumours are.

Outgoings could be interesting. Broadbent (which would be a shame), Diagouraga, others? Hopefully the keeper is a first choice. Could Grant see May go back?

I hope Broadbent doesn't go out. He was fairly solid at the end of last season and I really rated him. Plus with his experience in the army as a lance corporal/corporal he has inbuilt leadership skills and a no nonsense approach. The bloke also looks pretty strong so could get a handle on some of L2's bigger forwards.
