There is an element of our fan base that seems to go watch the Town as a place of mediation, medication & meditation.
SLF. I'm in.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? Crap!

I make no apologies for fucking loving the PDC days.
Last year, you could still get the PdC pizza in Fratello's if so inclined, not sure about 2019, mind.

Returning in 2019 to fleece people £30 on top of a £32 ticket which entitles you to a single photo opportunity seems about right to me.
The word 'passion' is going to be said a lot in the Q&A, isn't it?

Yes, I'm well aware of where that kind of paragraph belongs but in all honesty, in that very moment it was special and it did feel like everyone belonged and was together. The spending, not sustainable - yes but the on field and supporter togetherness was real. I'm not sure if we can get it to that kind of level again. It can be done and it doesn't cost anything financially. Even in the shitty times, I still want us (while voicing our concerns) to be proud of our club. There is an element of our fan base that seems to go watch the Town as a place of mediation. To vent their own personal anger and frustrations. They aren't interested in how Town do. If we are shit, it gives them further excuse to be like that. Not healthy for anyone - not continually. Anyway. £30 is a bit steep for that. I saw Stiff Little Fingers (with Eddie & The Hotrods) for less than that. Playing in Gloucester on 21st August for anyone interested £25ish. There was zero on-field togetherness and less than zero among the backroom and club staff.

Wasn't how I viewed it in maybe a clouded moment, while we were marching towards the L2 title, met PdC twice in person during his "reign" and for all the media bravado etc, one man to another, he came across as a gentleman and always had time for kids too. There was division between players and management (shock) but that's only because they were beasted even if they won 4-0 They'd never faced a fitness regime so intense but I bet when their careers are all done they will remember winning that title and how fit they were. I don't think it was as zeroed as you're making out PP but each to their own. We know it wasn't perfect but that L2 season was memorable

Enjoy Chalkie, daughter and Wobbly. E&THR were still pretty decent in support too!
