At the risk of cursing him, Baudry’s been solid too so far.

Was he the guy that let Stevens go for the free header ;-)

This might be my winner.

Strangely enjoyed that. Jonny Smith has got their player on toast. Much improved from those who fucked it up Saturday.

Nice to see Broadbent back.

0-0 HT

Started well. Had half a dozen clear cut chances. FGR have passed the ball around well and grown as the half has progressed.

Two good saves from Fryer. Good link up from Pitman Look relatively solid at the back.

HT 0-0
Pretty solid performance all round so far.

Against a sack of shit.

I'd normally focus on the three or four clear chances to score we had, but, I'm in a bad mood with Swindon right now.   The team has just lost every ounce of impetus from last season and seems utterly disjointed.  I'd say lacking in focus as well.  Matt Smith and maybe Johny aside, the team just is all a bit meh at the moment.  I think there are many reasons for this and I have sympathy for anyone trying to look like life is normal right now.  Ah well.

I think we are all angry with the team at the moment, but trying to take the positives from small steps. Fryer, Stevens, J Smith, M Smith, Odimayo all looking worthy of a place, Baudry and Pitman are playing better than recently too.

Its bloody difficult staying any form of positive at the moment though I agree.

Well that answers my question. I usually enjoy your insights, but you’re well off your A game tonight. We’re nothing like that bad. Step away from the computer. And shouldn’t you be at work?

I've been working from home for 9 months, which probably doesn't help, by enabling me to watch the games!
