Bit of interesting news on Chester City's development at the Deeva Stadium (see linkage above).

Like us the Stadium is owned by the Council and the proposal is to develop capacity with one stand offering a host of new facilities,

Early doors but it's an interesting one to watch for us and and even more so in the current climate.  The main difference to the old CG proposals are that the carrot for a developer to plough in the funds is coming solely from commercial revenue such as office facilities, retail outlets etc without apartments and housing.

Well, that and the fact that Chester's proposals aren't actually unlawful, as the old CG proposals were

And they can redevelop all they like, it'll still be in Wales.
