Not sure how Ferry would fit into the team now we have Prutton?

Neither am I. Could Ferry play on the left I wonder?

A very believeable story though.

I should imagine Prutton or Douglas will get suspended or injured at some point this season so we will need some decent back up.
Also some healthy competition for places does no harm.

Agree with all of that.

Will Ferry be happy to sit on the bench though?

What's to say Prutton won't sit on the bench if Ferry signs?

Gives us formation options. 3-5-2 with all 3 in the middle, or a 4-1-4-1 with Douglas sitting in front etc.

I have a feeling Caddis will be a town player next season. Ferry would be a welcome bonus. If we make these permanent transfers than the Manager and Board really need to be congratulated.

If we get these two in then we'd only need a couple more additions to have an even better squad than the prior season in my opinion. Exciting times possibly.

2 great signings if they come off, on perm to boot! I don't think pruttons signing effects ferry really strength in depth is what we lacked last year, having 3 quality centre mids is a brucey! These two would certainly make our back 4 and midfield look very strong. I think all we're missing now is a flair player, like ward, and perhaps a really pacey forward.

Would be more than happy with those to.

Loved the article - made us sound like a club intent on promotion and willing to back it as well.

I think if we signed Ferry an Caddis they'd deserve to have statues made and placed in the town centre. (The board and Wilson that is.) Ferry would be amazing for competition's sake. Whether he'd start or not who knows, but Prutton, Ferry and Dougie would be freely interchangeable.

Am i right in stating Caddis can play right across the midfield and at either side as a full back?

If we get another good striker in now (which I am sure DW is working on) happy times ahead...... Smiley

Back in September for a couple of weeks and hopefully a couple of games.  Can't wait to see how this squad has developed from my last game which was a 2-1 win against Franchise with Paul Ince playing.

Four years without a town game is just wrong!
