Good idea for a thread yeovs  :D  That picture of you and curley made I laugh.

May I add some of mine ....

Barnsley (crikey seems like yonks ago, wow) - On the way down we past a mini bus full of pox fans. My dad beeped the horn and started kissing his swindon badge whilst my cousin waved his fist in the air all done in the heat of the moment, and they went savage  :D  Me and my sister then joined in and they started lobbing bottles (plastic) at us and squatting their arses against the windows. It was hilarious, I don't think I've ever laughed so much in my life.

Franchise - Was slightly boring to be honest, got there quite late!

Brentford - was the bees knees (see what I did there) gutted we won't be playing them again next season. It was a lush day and the fans were quality.

Yeovil - Amazing atmosphere, good game.

City - Best one yet. SUPER DOOPER! minis the fact we were relegated obviously. Fans were brilliant and the players played well for once!

Crikey, I thought I went to more than that

Brizzle, best away trip ever, mini bus was ace

sure i did at least one more... probs forgot  :beers:

also had great days out for other non footballing reasons, eg Nottingham to see Oasis with Dave, Reeves for King and Scouse!

Brentford - dont remember much, had an arguement with police and stationmaster after kickin a door in on the train cos we hit sum inconsiderate bastard who tried to kill himself. very nearly got kicked in by sum chelsea fans.

Gillingham - Pissing on a harvester restaurant, good sing-song in pub. being thrown out for 'tryin to punch' darren byfield.

Yeovil - got pissed, had mex whisper things in my ear for most of the 1st half. had the last chicken balti pie, much to DMR's anger. saw sum1 i hate whos never been b4. some lads shoutin 'COON, COON, COON!' at an asian lad gettin off the train on the way back.

Swansea - whetherspoons in swindon at 11, broke my fone, RFK sick on his shoes, goin mental when shakes scored. nrly crashin on the way home.

Brizzle - 1st beer: 8.40. (thanks whits) sing 'we all dream of a team of alan reeves' most of the way ther. shoutin at an unsuspectin arsenal fan in calne. fallin asleep in pub. bein given a cheeseburger after asking for a hotdog (no, really) cos the stupid bird at the burger bar was a fukin immigrant. goin mental when brown scored. being ran into by a police horse outside the ground. seeing a city fan crash. whits assaulting me.

Barnsley- Really hyped up for this. Good beer in the Leisure Centre. Liked Oakwell.

Franchise- Can't really say anything.

Gillingham- Pissed up. Didn't get in, thrown out. My TEF tour debut. Post Code......

Yeovil- Saw Yeovil Red in the pub but he doesn't know it!  :) Village putting am empty glass in my beer... :x

Swansea- Why?

City- Late for the game and left early.

stfcfan seems to have missed out sarfend entirely. odd.

aylesbury - met kinky tom, saw some crap football, had a few pints, an aylesbury player had to play for us and set up our goal.

crawley - walrus resurrecting fallon's career with some well-timed abuse, the hunchback of notre dame.

barnsley - yeovil doing a spacker thing in whits' car, sleeping with his eyes open, optimism ruined entirely

tranmere - longest away trip i've ever made, asher scared me a bit. sunny day.

walsall - went with my old man, walked for miles to get to the pub, got a lift back to the ground with mex's sister in the worlds smallest car, santini scared me.

donny - fucking brilliant atmosphere, fantastic feeling. great night.

Franchise - only away game i've ever driven to, the ufo's were ace and spacey drunkenly stumbling into my house and talking to my parents.

brentford - lovely sunny day, drove up with my dad, whits left at half-time. my first ever balti pie.

huddersfield - cowhorses, where's me jumper, tom's assault on a small child in the pub, asher's sock obsession, balti pie on a plate.

port vale - fucking cold, chavvy car.

rotherham - no pub, lovely fry-up, first away win.

oldham - wrong way round the m60, mental bundle at the front, not being able to smoke during game.

chesterfield - asher nearly going through a table in the pub, i bought a round.

gillingham - utterly insane and i lost the plot completely. and i was sober.

southend - fucking freezing, snowing, insane traffic, terrifying near death experience(s).

nottm forest - shite

swansea - wales, welsh people, the welsh spelling of lift being lifft.

bristol city - fantastic day out, crap navigation.

16 away games plus 2 friendlies isn't too bad.

Franchise :- Short 50 min drive from my house, got there with my mate and met TEF in the big bar i can't remember. Yeovil said he was going for a fight and they had no pies

TRANMERE :- A crap bank holiday monday game where i drove Magic up there. We met Mr Asher and Marie in car park there and went for a drink where we met Sonic, Whits, DV85.

BRENTFORD :- Drove down with my mate and father. Lovelly sunny day and good pies. Spoke to DMR on arrival at turnstile to find he had been fighting.

WALSALL :- A gay kick off time cos Eng-er-land were playing. Dropped magic, mrs magic and whits off at pub in Walsall centre.

HUDDERSFIELD :- I drove up with Ash and met Lady, Sonic, Whits and DV85 there. Later on KT, Mex and senior KT arrivied. Ash bought some Huddersfield socks and the beer was shit.

Walsall - Went up with the misses for a weekend. Romance isn't dead. Was suprised at the wall of silence inside the Walsall ground. Shhhhh.

Brentford. On my todd. Driving but had a couple anyway. Met up with the guy who sits behind me in the town end. Delighted with point despite being 5 points away from anyone else.

Oldham. Went to see sister in Manchester and made her come to the game. 2-0 up and having a larf. Same old Swindon blew it....

Forest. Mates decided McDonalds was better bet than Hooters. Gaylords. So bad it was funny. Abused by a ginger Forest fan on way back. FFS, he was ginger. People in glass houses. Took the piss out of some bloke in a Balck Astra with big white skirts/body kit.

barnsley- realisation that the hype was a bit off the mark
gills-  first game where'd i'd met people off here properly.
sarfend- met sussex in the pub beforehand, spurned his advances. stood and tried to keep semi-racist jokes to the minimum volume

I predicted them to go up...but to be fair I'm not sure what's happening in L1 anymore as I haven't bothered loooking at a table for a while now.

Brentford - Quality. "We aint got a barrel of money..." Finally ended our losing run. Great day, I do like their ground.

Franchise - Journey there was quite nice, that's about it

Rotherham - Went in a rough pub, then into town on a mini pub crawl (got there at 10.30). Had a cuppa in a cafe while some crazy old man was banging on about the chuckle brothers and mike pollitt and danny williamson. A win! But what a shithole

Hartlepool - Too far, too tired, shit place, shit ground, weird northern people. Not very many Swindon fans, good goal from Fallon though.

Bristol City - Quality day, had resigned to relegation weeks ago, so just went and had a good time, went out in Bristol in the night. Never heard a quieter set of home fans.........ever. 15,000 people sitting down for the whole game, bar 5 minutes after they scored.

Being in germany has restricted my away games tally a bit this season. Which way to Accrington?

Quote from: "bennett"
aylesbury- lovely little ground
barnsley- realisation that the hype was a bit off the mark
gills-  first game where'd i'd met people off here properly.
sarfend- met sussex in the pub beforehand, spurned his advances. stood and tried to keep semi-racist jokes to the minimum volume

it seems like a lot more. i think it's cos it's been a massive mission for me to see town at home let alone away

your racism was disgusting at southend. fucking fascist cunt.

what on earth posessed you to go to aylesbury?

Barnsley: Met everyone, syays it all really. England caned the Aussies all day at cricket.

Bournemouth: Jumping as high as physically possible wityhout hurting myself with Dave when Jenks scored and Yeovil Red's random shouting of abuse at little kids.

Franchise: UFO UFO :D  and trying to break the stand.

Gillingham: Coppers talking to police in Geordie accents, getting pissed, sobering up, getting pissed again. Everyone gets kicked out.

Yeovil: Great train journey; first introduction to drinking at 8:30am :D

Swansea: Too much beer and no food :(  but going mental when Shakes scored. Talked about Cardiff loads :?

City: Mental trip, mental game, lots of alcohol, shame about the relegation.
