This made I laugh...
Sponsored content on Facebook from the publicity shy Forest Green owner....
Inspired by Willy Wonka, and the golden ticket - we’re launching this today, for a bit of fun.
The chance to win a diamond ticket.
We’re hiding ten of them, virtually, in copies of Manifesto (my book). If you buy the book you get the chance to win a ticket - which gets you an actual Sky Diamond and a visit to the place where the magic happens.
Details are on my new website zerocarbonista.com

Come on now, we may not all agree from time to time but we must all relate to this...

Just seen this clip. Holy fuck, it's an absolute miracle of engineering and safety protocols. A few engineers and marshals being bought some very expensive wine tonight. Delighted not to have watched that live.

Yep watched that live. When it happened it reminded me of some early 90s F1 cars (and likely some late 80s ones) when the speed was there but not the safety and my first thought was "oh fuck no, not another one" and a potential huge setback for F1 safety.
They are like jets and when you saw that impact you can see why. It was like a burnt out fusealage. To see Grosjean appear from the flames was a massive relief. I can only imagine if he'd been at terminal velocity what the outcome may have been.
Then on the restart Stroll flipped and you just wondered if it was going to be one of those kind of days. Thankfully that was just a more "normal" kind of incident in F1.
A great reminder how dangerous F1 is and how bloody talented these designers and engineers are. But for a piece of kit that wasn't so greatly received when it was introduced, it has likely kept a man alive.
