Get the impression something is not right if Smith is not offered the two years he wants. Will be a travesty if that's the case especially as he was given 2 years initially as a virtual unknown!

I reckon he's going to stay, he's just playing the game a little. King gave him very little in the way of oportunities for 18 months, and now regards him as more or less indispensible. Smith knows this and is making King sweat, I think I'd do the same in his situation.

I don't, I reckon he's gonna leave, but I am a pessimistic little soul. Just think City will offer him better terms. The only thing in our favour is that next season he's pretty much guaranteed to be a first team fixture and as you say possible legend in the making. Where as at City he's got to start all over again.
