As has been repeatedly said elsewhere, win ratios without context are meaningless.

I had a 67% win ratio over my three game tenure of New College 3rd Team back in 1993 - this involved sticking a team sheet up on a wall because our teacher was off sick, arranging for the nets to be put up and ensuring everyone had their kit. We did have one player walk out when I dropped him to the bench, and one of the games was against a scratch Swindon Ladies Youth team, but I think it proves I am better than all of them.

Seems a bit odd, but I think they have only won 3 this year. Scunthorpe seem to be on a bit of a 'now or never' mission according to one or two things I've read. So I guess they've thought if they stick with him it definitely will be never.. Such is the short term nature of football these days.

I thought he was drawn to the club by the good old Northern warmth that the fans gave him

If you thought our defending was bad check out the 2 FGR goals. The first is textbook how NOT to deal with a cross into the box!

They should give it to Mark Hughes, see if he could be involved in all three clubs going down in the same season.
