Training on 3Gs still by the looks of things too. Not ideal. In defence of the player though, he may have just been made to do say 4 circuits and that was his last lap? I hope.

David Flitcroft says they are close to having the paperwork going through on a 4th signing. Could be done by close of play today #stfc (Adver)
(Ben Purkiss mentioned on twitter, etc).

Purkiss would be an interesting one, when you consider his age he would be a complete outlyer from the previous regime and model. However been captain at Port Vale and thus a bit of experience to tie it all together? Pleasingly, we do seem to be building from a foundation of what we actually need which is a pleasant change from the complete scattergun approach of the PdC years and the ending up with what we are offered by other teams of more recent times. Good god we could end up with some balance in the team!

Going to feel weird watching mens footie next season, felt like a dad going to support the local youth team recently which is weird as a 28 year old.

According to the BBC, the four signing is the return of our ex-captain: "Relegated Swindon have made their fourth signing inside a week after completing a two-year deal for striker Paul Mullin from League Two rivals Morecambe The 22-year-old joined for an undisclosed fee, after making 140 appearances for the Shrimps in three seasons - more than half of them as a substitute. His arrival at the County Ground follows the captures of Nathan Thompson, Chris Robertson and James Dunne."

I know we've a few new lads, but I only recognise 2 of the players, Smith and Thomas. Has Conor been despatched to the youth team or something.

Maybe he is still there. http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/10924120/no-summer-break-for-conor-thomas
