We are in the process of developing a website for the Loud and Proud concept.  One of the sections will be details of every away ground in our current league.  It will include the obvious such as directions, prices, trains, coaches etc.  What we would also like is a real fans perspective, and to be fair this forum probably hosts most of our away day regulars.

It would be great if people could PM me with their thoughts/ideas/opinions on different away grounds in our league:

Best pubs with a rating out of 10 and details (we will provide links through beerinthevening.com as well).
What the catering is like?
Interesting or funny stories?
What to expect from the locals?

etc

I know fansfocus.co.uk does a similar job but you only have to look at their info on Swindon to see it's either out of date or just empty!  We want to try and make it a website for Swindon fans based on real opinions, not just a quick flick through streetmap or the AA.

Thanks for your help, the website should be up and running within a few weeks.

I'd see if you get could people to write their own reviews and whack them on there for browsing too, Id happily write a few and I'm sure others would. Wider perspectives and all that.

Get started then, this is exactly what we want.  Looking at some of the websites with ground info, they list pubs which "were packed with home fans".  Great if that's your thing Wink  but maybe not everyone's cuppa, some might like a pub overrun with away fans, being an away fan that is.
