Traffic isnt too bad on saturdays unless its race week you don't get that many ppl travelling long distances to come and watch cheltenham!

Which route is the best route to take to Forest by car?
Just looked at AA routefinder and doesn't look great. Will be leaving from the CG not from Chelt (even though its closer).
Does anyone know any quick routes or best roads to use?
Also what time would we need to leave to get there a couple of hours/hour and a half before the game starts? A419 M5 M42 A42 M1 J25 Signposted all the way in from there Lady or alternatively A420 scumsville A420/A421 via Bicester & Buckingham to Milton Keynes (about 1hr at womans pace) Milton Keynes to M1 north on to Nottingham (a further hour at womans pace) |
