I can't spend a week saying we'll lose and then not proclaim to be shocked when we do. The sense of inevitability was frightening though and we will be going down if that's how we approach the games against relegation threatened sides. The second half in particular.

This. I didn't join in the "Power out" chants solely because I still dread the "Be careful what you wish for" alternatives, but that was a fucking disgrace. Williams is just a fall guy lined up to take the hits, from shit decisions made above him.
Sherwood not even at the game today, according to the anaesthetist in post-match interview. Which says it all. Sherwood has fashioned a team in his own image - bottlers who don't show up.

I couldn't believe Ince wasn't in the squad. But fr the first 30 minutes we were actually quite good.

Then the sack of shit that is the midfield fell apart. It literally stopped. Kassim was absolutely hopeless. Gladwin couldn't tackle to save his fucking life, and god knows what the fuck Colkett offers. We survived until half time. Could have actually gone 2-0 up had colkett not gone onto his wrong foot and fired straight at the keeper.

The second half carried on where the first left off. Dogshit midfield. Crap defending on their first too. Could have had a foul before their second but we were clearly given the advantage. We lost the ball well before the goal. We didn't block the shot. After that everyone knew it was it.

The defeat (7 in a row?) is sickening, but the thought of more and more seasons of this bollocks is far far worse.

Even if we have to suffer Power's powder puff creche, the fraud managers Sherwood, Williams and Embleton can fuck right off.

At least the loan situation won't be an issue next match, Gladwin is destined for non league again in no time. An absolute passenger with no bottle!
He was poor and lazy - when on his game a good player but like the rest of them there appears to be a motivation problem.  Kasim was awful as well.

Management must take the blame for that. For the first 30mins we played well but after that it was all one way traffic. We dodn't win any second ball and Oxford wanted it more than us. Enough of Thompson's passion after the game how about playing with that passion. Everyone knew Ince had to play today so what is it that Williams canmt see woth our midfield? We didn't have a midfield in the second half and yet no changes until we are behind even though fans could see what was needed. A proper manager would have made changes before they equalised. Im in no way saying it would have changed the result as Oxford deserved it second half but too many occasions we can see the problem but we don't make changes before its too late.

You know its bad when you would take all of Oxford's midfield in a heartbeat!

From the stands we could see that the midfield was losing the battle after about 35 minutes of the first half. Kasim was unable to come out of any challenge with the ball, and when there wasn't a challenge he gave it away anyway. Colkett and Gladwin looked lost. Why did it take the coach/manager/golden egg laying goose so long to see the same thing and try and affect a change?

Also, whoever took the decision that Ince would be the player to miss out today is a bellend of the highest order. From the post match I'm assuming it was Williams, as Sherwood not in attendance.  'Hmm, a local derby where a bit of physicality and experience in the middle of the field would be really valuable. Nah, can't put Ince in, he's just not lightweight and tippy tappy enough.'.

Fucking idiots.

Oh and whichever one of the coaching staff was going round gesturing for the DRS to "up it" after the game had finished and pointing at the badge on his chest can fuck right off as well. We ARE fucking proud of the badge, you cunt, it's your responsibility to get that spineless shower of shite you produce on the pitch instead of a team to show some fucking pride, you cheeky twat.

Nest two games are Bury and Oldham, we won't get much out of them unless we learn how to scrap fro the ball in double quick time!  No points from those two and relegation will be a certainty - if it isn't now.

It's not even a discussion. Only question really is whether we finish bottom or Coventry
