But isn't Sherwood who picks the team and the tactics? Surely he has to shoulder a lot of blame as well
Not according to Power in the phone in....

But yes, either Sherwood steps up now or fucks off.

Sorry, Lee Power.  But the time now is fast-approaching when you'll need to decide whether you take the club forward, or just let it waste away.  Does your ownership of this club have a point - and, if so, what is it?

Well what a disappointment that was.  Better team by a long way for the first 30 mins and should have gone in at least two goals ahead, second half sat back and fucked around with the ball, midfield absolutely useless, gave possession away far too easily and we were well beaten in the end, no complaints about the result.  Why the fuck wasn't the system changed after an hour when it was obvious we were being overrun in midfield, Goddard should have been on for Kasim who was at his useless best soon into the second half.  The management can take the blame for that defeat.

Hockaday:
-   Tactically on 30 minutes with Swindon rampant Maguire brought into middle
-   2nd half they were on fire
-   Oxford look strong and powerful. Swindon didn’t look up to the task
-   Oxford thoroughly deserved the win
-   When you are under the cosh you need to alter the system just to stop the other team’s momentum. We changed after going behind
-   They won all the second balls
-   Colkett looks as if he’ll be a player ‘in time’
-   Gladwin looked off the pace
-   Kasim & Rodgers don’t have a defensive bone in their body
-   Thomas brought on for a bit more physicality even though that isn’t his game
-   Ajoses runs were excellent.
-   When you get tired you can’t execute passes etc. Thats what Swindon looked like. Tired. Not fit
-   First 30 mins we were strong and looked good against a team who he thought is the best he has seen this year
-   Take the 30 mins, bottle it and see if we can replicated it for 60 or 70
-   Dabo going forward was good. Not so good defending
-   If he was opposition manager he would tell team to keep pressing at them as Swindon will tire
-   Feels for Williams. Agreed with Williams assessment, but thinks that the lack of concentration is due to lack of fitness.
-   To have so many loan players is a hassle. Needs to be addressed.
-   Saw Sherwood at G Taylor funeral but doesn’t know why he wasn’t there today
-   Williams appears to have taken back some of the responsibilities from Sherwood
-   First half took away physicality of Oxford. In the second half Oxford were better in every department
-   Thought Vigs sending off was harsh
-   When you are at the bottom you need old heads and experience to slow things down and fight when you need to
-   Hope it doesn’t go down to the wire. But Oxford were the best team he’s seen. We won’t see such good teams every week
-   Hockaday thinks we may have enough to stay up.

Williams:
-   Looked like we couldn’t cope with reality of being infront
-   Allowed opposition build
-   We found space in first half
-   Good chance for Norris to put it out of site in first half
-   Maguire leaving more space at the back should have helped us but it didn’t
-   With amount of loans we have we have to leave someone out. Didn’t deserve to drop any in order to bring Ince in. But, certainly we didn’t match Oxford with physicality in 2nd half
-   Very difficult balancing act
-   Mentally, once the pressure starts to rise then we didn’t keep concentration.
-   Physically we are always going to be out muscled, but we have ways around that
-   Didn’t know why Vigs was a straight red
-   Twice in this fixture looks like there is a problem there. Struggling to concentrate?
-   There was a spitting incident. Shouldn’t have reacted to it.
-   Defensive response about why Sherwood wasn’t there today.
-   The game is a derby and we managed to make chances in the chaos and go in front

When I saw 5 at the back I got worried. The midfield was non-existant, and Kasim a waste of space.

I'm trying to come out with a positive...

And I cannot....

Once again the fitness question raised, if they aren't fit at this stage never will be,
Oh and midfield didn't deserved to be changed to accommodate Ince, in what reality does he exist ffs. Ince just the player needed today of all days

At least the loan situation won't be an issue next match, Gladwin is destined for non league again in no time. An absolute passenger with no bottle!
