Great stuff.
I should think all the goons who hate KP are now a little wiser as to why we need him back as well.

Start of the 2nd test at Headingly today, I'm going to predict England winning by an innings and 50 odd runs!
Sky Bet odds for this test: England 5/6, NZ 11/1 and Draw 5/4.
An unchanged team for me and a nice little boost heading into The Ashes!

What's the weather forecast like for Leeds?
5/6 is a mortgage job with 3-4 days play.

Well done to Joe Root on getting his maiden test century at his home ground. Had hoped that Bairstow would join him, but not to be. Still a pretty good day for England.

Always wait until both teams have had a bat before casting judgement. Pleased for Root & Bairstow today. Hope they both develop into top test players and represent their country for years to come. Hope neither have to give their place away for Pietersen to come back. Admittedly Pietersen is a better batsman than both at the moment, but they are the future of English cricket.

Clearly enough to be riled by both of them but I'm flattered you feel like you have to pretend you weren't annoyed. Saddo

Root's doing well in the middle order, don't think we should be sending him in to open too soon. Compton still has more test hundreds, he deserves a longer run at it

If England can rattle on to 400 with Prior/Swann around for an hour tomorrow, big pressure on NZ and Lords will still be fresh in their minds! Well batted Joe Root!

I was annoyed by your second post. I thought it was unnecessarily aggressive. I was trying to respond to your first post by discussing the subject of the thread. But if all you're interested in is throwing personal insults then I won't bother.

Just found this on wikipedia...
'In 1922 at Edgbaston, Hampshire were bowled out for 15 in just nine overs in reply to Warwickshire's 223 in a 3-day match. Hampshire's total is the seventh lowest score for a completed first class innings. Hampshire were put back in to bat, and then famously scored a mammoth 521 before dismissing Warwickshire for 158 to win by a comfortable 155 runs.[7] Hampshire's first innings total of 15 remains the lowest score for a completed innings by a winning team.'
Made me laugh.
