Well, that's 4 of the 'car park 5' or 'Bellend 6' through the CG front door.

Was Hawkins no 5?
Will Ajose be no 5/6?

Tune-in tomorrow Bat Town fans for more exciting transfer dealings at SN1...

I'm actually enjoying the window so far this week.

Fair play to Sherwood/Power. Some business being done relatively early in the window with scope for more to come.

Re El Abd - He's really not what we need. At all.

What a 32 year old centre half with 343 Football League games...noted for getting stuck in and liking a battle.  Yes you're right not what we need at all.

Currently at Shrewsbury who are below us, so must be making a big contribution there.

...because he's solely responsible for their position?

It's certainly a sign he's not guaranteed to shore up our defence.

You don't have to be 34 with 343 FL appearances to be 'experienced'. I pretty much define 'experience' as 2 or 3 full seasons as a regular. A player will know what it's all about with 50+ starts under their belt.

I think it's easy to confuse the term 'experienced' with 'veterans', which is what I think most of us really want.

Preferably a couple of shaven headed, snarling, toothless, tattooed mother fuckers that have just escaped from a maximum security prison.

A couple of Sith would be handy actually.

that's the trouble with sith midfielders, they keep trying to force the ball.

Think of the unavailability due to injuries, suspensions and fighting the Rebel Alliance. Oh won't somebody think of the unavailability due to injuries, suspensions and fighting the Rebel Alliance.

When setting out on the model....it was very much the case of Darren Ward will help the kids along, we then got shreded by Wolves, Jack Stephens came in and it was decided the veteran was no longer needed.... a policy vindicated the following season, until late on when Ricketts was drafted in.

 Since then we've struggled defensively...

I wonder if the experienced Blackburn lad that was mentioned will be a done deal in time for Bolton.
