In my time... Sam Parkin. Although I think Steve Finney would be up there if he didn't break his leg at Burnley. He was ace I disagree quite strongly. Steve Finney was shit.

God, this is a tough one.
Alan Mayes and Peter Eastoe.
With Jan the Man and Shearer close runners-up.

Shearer and Chalky. He wasn't the most gifted player but Chalky is a true legend in my eyes.

Nigh on impoosible, but will have to go for Parkin & Fjortoft, with Charlie Henry coming off the bench for the last 10 minutes!

duncan shearer is my fav ever forward.partnering him i'd have fjortoft. no mention of arthur horsfield?any of our older older posters have an opinion on him?
i have come to know him through work.we got talking one day and he asked how the town were doing.he then said "i used to play for them".i did some research and it turned out he scored some goals in our ventures overseas.he's a nice fella as it goes.

I loved Craig Maskell as a little 'un but I don't think he had 50 appearances.
For players I've seen, I'll have to say SSP and Jan.
