It was the usual kind of Scottish funeral, very sad at the church and the graveyard then straight to the Pub to catch up with the family. The funeral was at 10.30 and we didn't leave the pub til 10 so in a funny kind of way it was a good day, if you know what I mean.
Come on YR, you can't take anything away from the majority of the Tartan Army. In 98 they drank St Etienne dry and there were no arrests, not one. Usually if one of them start getting out of order, the other Scotland fans take care of the situation.

No but instead every time they win, the come out with the "we're back..." oh how wonderful our team is, shit. A la the after victory over Italy.
Least the Tartan Army accept the fact Scotland are not much cop. Wales get illusions of grandeur on regular frequencies.

I'm with Yeovil.....and I've got a siimilar beef about Newcastle fans.
In the early 90's when we played them often....they had a couple of average to poor seasons in the second flight and their crowds could drop down to 10,000 for a game against the scum, who they finished a place below......only 4000 more than at the manor......OK if they played Sunderland it'd still be a decent gate...but essentially because they weren't terribly good the fans drifted away, like at just about every other club.....it took Sir John Hall to throw money at it, to get a bit of glory and the fans to return.....just like at every other club.

Reg, you can hardly label the Tartan Army as Glory Supporters can you? To be fair to them, they've gone through years of shit and they still go and represent the country with a bit of pride.
I know what you mean about the Geordies though.
