I'd heard that Cheltenham were trying to sign a 'former' right back of ours.
Bradley Barry I hope

Woolery often gets stick for not being a prolific scorer. He's not an out and out striker, though.
Maybe not, but he's bloody awful out wide. He came on aa a sub at Chesterfield & frightened the life out of them for a while by running at them with the ball. Unfortunately they soon realised that he would ignore anyone overlapping outside of him & couldn't cross the ball for toffee

I can't believe that we offered more than a 1 year deal to Robertson. Flitcroft really was a cretin.

Must be something defective about Tom Smith, the ability was there but overlooked so many times without being given a chance it can't be coincidence.
Moore? Seriously? Wouldn't have bothered with Linganzi either but he could do a job.

Surprised to see Stuart Moore offered a contract and very glad to see Charles-Cook released. Relieved he didn't have another year to run.
Amine Linganzi somewhat fortunate to be offered a new contract.
Hopefully we transfer list Robertson and hope someone takes him.

Given the high number of contracted players we have we'll probably be limited largely to loan players. Can't see that we'll be able to shift many of the deadwood contracted players.

Smith must have an attitude or something, I wonder if he'll end up at FGR?

A contract off to Ryan McGivern? How odd.

The only one that raised my eyebrows was Chris Robertson but that could be a contract clause activation.

R C-C is still under contract.... PB has just let him know if he wants to play, then he'll need to move on. Sitting tight and taking his salary still an option. At this stage it's all a bit flexible... contract offers are sometimes done for tactical reasons, like last years offer to Jermaine Hylton, clearly it wasn't that we wanted him, well I assume the case, but rather a new club would pay the admin on his registration. Of those staying, there might yet be a bit of wriggle room for outs, no doubts agents will ahve been informed and perhaps seeing what they can do. Obviously and for me a good thing there won't be a huge churn, the new blood being mostly loans.

Agreed, not a lot of scope to maneuver unless we offload a few more. The flaw in that plan pointed out above.
