Title: Re: Exeter Post by: hobodan on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, 18:39:43 Why such a small allocation? There isn’t a great deal of info on the club website.

Title: Re: Exeter Post by: hobodan on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, 18:46:15 Ain't the ground being redeveloped? Apparently so.. https://www.exetercityfc.co.uk/news/2018/january/RedevelopmentUpdateJan5/ Title: Re: Exeter Post by: Peter Venkman on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, 19:05:57 Ain't the ground being redeveloped? Massively, they are down to 2 stands, the old stand has been pulled down and the small away section behind the goal is also closed.Title: Re: Exeter Post by: Hitchinred on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, 19:17:22 I’m heading down to stay with my sister who isn’t particularly pleased that I could only get myself a ticket. So if anyone finds themselves with a spare ticket in the Exeter area on Saturday do please give me a shout!
Title: Re: Exeter Post by: FreddySTFC! on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, 19:49:41 Is this all ticket then? Or can we buy on the day in the home end?
Title: Re: Exeter Post by: Peter Venkman on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, 12:35:09 The only tickets left are in the home end standing behind the goal, all seats are sold out.
Exeter expecting a near sell out but because of the away support problem in the bigger games (of which this is one) don't allow pay on the day. Best ring them direct to check quantity of tickets left though. Title: Re: Exeter Post by: Bob's Orange on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, 15:21:19 Maybe not such a big deal for this weekend's match but if we were to get Exeter in the play-offs the demand for tickets will be way more than is actually available.
Title: Re: Exeter Post by: glosreds on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, 18:33:05 whats the pub weve been given down there such as wheres everyone drinking pre match
Title: Re: Exeter Post by: The Artist Formerly Known as Audrey on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, 18:38:33 Exeter have the biggest standing terrace in English football!
What ever happened to compulsory all seater stadiums? Title: Re: Exeter Post by: RobertT on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, 18:52:40 Only top two divisions were required in the end - but you cannot convert back once seating is installed from what I remember.
Title: Re: Exeter Post by: Costanza on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, 18:57:05 Even once you’re in the second tier you’re given a little more time to develop. Plymouth still had standing in the Championship as did Yeovil and I’m sure Burton is still terraced.
Title: Re: Exeter Post by: woolster on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, 19:09:25 isn't Brentford away end (lower tier) still standing
Title: Re: Exeter Post by: Reg Smeeton on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, 19:17:48 Only top two divisions were required in the end - but you cannot convert back once seating is installed from what I remember. Reminds me of an AGM in about 94/95.... I argued with Ray Hardman that the Bank should be kept as a terrace, rather than just bolt cheapo seats on. His argument was we're second flight, so just couldn't... my counter, had he looked at the league table recently... we went down. I'm fairly sure we'd have had more use out of a terrace in the intervening 20 odd years... of which 4 have been second flight. Plymouth still had standing in the Championship as did Yeovil and I’m sure Burton is still terraced. Peterborough still have terracing at one end, despite spending several seasons in the Championship in recent years. If I recall correctly the year they last got relegated would have been the last year they could have used the terraces. They have now built a new stand at one end Title: Re: Exeter Post by: FreddySTFC! on Thursday, March 22, 2018, 08:34:11 The only tickets left are in the home end standing behind the goal, all seats are sold out.
