i have both those band of horses albums and they are very good. quite a mellow take on rock music. "is there a ghost" and "the funeral" are both quite lovely.

i have the previous album by stars as well (the one with "ageless beauty" on) and that was good too, dont know about this one.

Sound quality's not too good on that but you can also hear it 1m30s into this http://www.newmixes.com/annie_mac-mash_up-sat-12-14-2007.html

I've liked the wombats for a while now, http://www.thetownend.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15899&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=wombats&start=15, good to see them getting more attention now. Reverend and the makers are also good.

Thats not true the last two Oasis albvums have bettered the previous, simple fact is they are victims of they're own success after the first 3 amazing albums and everything they have done since is unfairly compared.
Still better than the utter shite we get today though if any new band released SOTSOG, Heathen Chemistry or Don't Believe the Truth they would be laudid as geniouses yet Oasis get critisized.
